One of the main duties of the Deanship is to provide information about the different programs, specializations and degrees offered at SQU, as well as regulations for admissions and registration, and preparation of statistics required by the various bodies within the University. It also suggests amendments in the academic regulation system that reflect to the academic changes within the university.   

The Deanships ongoing efforts to utilize new technologies will contribute to the improvement of work mechanism, thus delivering to the community efficient, timely and professional services. 

Since its inception the Deanship has witnessed comprehensive development  that includes  shifting from the traditional paper-based registration to online Registration, online grade entry, and online student advising for those who are under probation. Recently, the Deanship has completed  in collaboration with the Center of Information System (CIS), several new online services such as: online degree audits, on-line registration waiting list, and GPA Calculator.  Furthermore, new projects are in the pipeline such as warning/barring notices, on-line course loading sheet  and Timetabling system software. These improvments  help SQU staff and students to perform their duties in systematic way
