University Services:

Member of the Crop Sciences Department Board.
Served as a member of the University’s ‘Admission and Registration Committee.
Served as a member of the College’s ‘Student Recruitment Committee’ (98-99).

Community Services:

Interview on national television on the importance of seed production in Oman
Receiving and conducting guided tours to school students
Delivered lectures on the role of CAMS in the Omani society during student university registrations

Extension Activities:

Chairperson of Germplasm and Crop Improvement focal group between the CAMS and the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
Member of the organizing committee for the ‘International Tropical Fruit Crops Workshop (Citrus and Mango)’, March 2005.
Member of the organizing committee for the ‘National Training Program on Biotechnology’, May 2005.
Participated in guided tours of the College laboratories and the Agricultural Experiment Station facilities and was a panel member answering growers’ questions on Farmers’ Day, 1998.
Contributed to the Fruit Section of the Farmer’s Guide that was distributed to farmers participating on Farmers’ Day.
