Why SQU Career Fair?
The Center for Career Guidance representative by Career Relations Department is organizing the annual SQU Career & Training Opportunities Fair over 21 years ago, as part of ensuring the provision of job opportunities or training to the students.
For Graduates:
- Search jobs and training opportunities provided by the participating institutions.
- Market their academic specializations and explain their programs’ plans and careers associated with them that may not be clear for participating institutions.
- Explore various institutions working environments, features, and applying conditions to help graduates in the process of jobs searching and arranging their priorities when submitting applications for employment .
- It is a golden opportunity for everyone to market his/her personal skills face-to-face with HR specialists in all participating institutions.
For Students:
- Search for training opportunities.
- Market their academic specializations and explain their programs' plans and careers associated with them that may not be clear for participating institutions.
- Recognize the most demanded jobs in the labor market (especially for students who are in the stage of choosing their academic specializations).
- Recognize essential skills demanded in the Omani Labor market in order to acquire and develop.
Tips & Advices
The Center for Career Guidance representative by Career Relations Department is organizing the annual SQU Career & Training Fair over 21 years ago, as part of ensuring the provision of job opportunities or training to the students.
- Make sure of the place and time (09:00 AM - 04:30 PM)
- Take advantage of the events and lectures associated with SQU Career & Training Opportunities Fair 2022. (CTOF 2022 Events)
- Make sure to bring the following: Your CV Final Transcript (and graduation notification for Graduates) Copies of your official documents (ID card/ Passport)
- Learn about the participating organizations, specify the ones which you are interested in the most and check their locations in the exhibition map in order to reach them directly.
- Do not forget to take the names, addresses, and phone numbers of the employers you talk to, so that you can get in contact with them easily after the exhibition.
- Avoid visiting the exhibition with a large group of friends since you may lose the focus required to get important information. Also, there would be a high possibility of causing load noise.
- Your visit may be a real job interview, so be ready to impress and succeed.
- Your actions reflects your personality.
- Dress formally.
- The exhibition is inappropriate for children, so please do not take them.
