The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is the focal point for the design of instruction that maximizes student learning at SQU. Faculty members work with CETL staff and with to revise their syllabi, assessment tools and instructional methods. We review research to identify the best research-based teaching and curriculum theories, policies, strategies, and methods. Through CETL workshops, group meetings, presentations, and individual consultations faculty members, are re-imagining teaching in order to improve and maximize student learning with an emphasis on the:
