The Department has set up its executive plan to contribute effectively to the development of the educational programs not only in terms of quantity but also in quality and excellence to ensure high caliber graduates, although, some academic rules and regulations related to the academic programs hindered the achievement of some goals and objectives of the Department.  Moreover, the Department has set a research plan, based on the necessity of having a group of researches, handling issues related with the Omani society (as enclosed). However, the Department has further contributed in the implementation of various programs and projects by offering plenty of consultancy services for various Government and Public establishments in / out of the Sultanate of Oman. (Enclosed)  The Department has to set up its annual executive plan and is obliged to implement it. As far as the society services are concerned, the table below illustrates the services provided.
