The Early Childhood Education Department was developed as a response to Oman's need for teachers who are trained to work with young children prior to the age of enrollment in primary schools. A Child Development Center on Campus serves as the resource where students can develop skills for observing and assessing children's growth and development, and for appropriately guiding, teaching, and motivating young children.
