يعتبر التعاون المشترك بين جامعة الامارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة السلطان قابوس نموذجاً مشرفاً وذلك في ظل العلاقات المتميزة بين البلدين الشقيقين وهو نتاج طبيعي لأهداف مسيرة دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.

كما أشيد بجهود اللجنة المشتركة على دورها الفعال حيث أن العلاقات شهدت في السنوات الأخيرة تطوراً كبيراً وقفزات نوعية شكلت علامات بارزة في المشهد العلمي والثقافي بين طلبة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعتين، خاصة تلك التي تتصل بجوانب البحث العلمي والمسابقات الدورية للأنشطة المختلفة، حيث حققت تلك الأنشطة الكثير من الأهداف المشتركة للجامعتين، والتي جاءت تعبيراً صادقاً وتجسيداً حقيقياً لآمال وطموحات مسيرة العمل المشترك لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية برؤى موحدة سعياً للارتقاء بمنظومة العمل الخليجي المشترك وذلك بانطلاق قدرات التحدي وصناعة المستقبل ليكون مشرقاً بشبابه ومرضياً لطموح قادته، ومن هنا فإن هذه اللقاءات المتكررة وتبادل المعارف والخبرات والتقنيات الحديثة والتعاون البحثي هي السبيل لبلوغ التكامل المعرفي وبناء جيل جديد قادر على تحقيق النهضة المنشودة المبنية على الوعي والعلم والمعرفة.

مرة أخرى أهنئ اللجنة المشتركة بين جامعتينا على جهودهما المقدرة والمستمرة والتي تشكل قوة دافعة ورمزاً مضيئاً يحفزنا على الاستمرار في تطوير العلاقات بغية الوصول الى غاياتنا المنشودة عبر مسيرتنا الحافلة بالعطاء.

إن العلاقة الأخوية التي تربط جامعة السلطان قابوس بشقيقتها جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة هي نتيجة من نتائج العمل المشترك وإحدى ثمار عمل اللجنة العمانية الإماراتية المشتركة. ولا يخفى على الجميع أن التعاون المشترك بين الجامعتين أصبح نموذجا متميزا يحتذى به بين جامعات دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي ، كما أنه حقق إنجازات في الكثير من الأصعدة منها الجوانب الأكاديمية والجوانب العلمية هذا بالإضافة إلى الأنشطة الطلابية والزيارات الإدارية والعلمية، وكل هذه الانجازات جاءت تعبيرا صادقا وتجسيداً للعمل المشترك بين الجامعتين، وتنفيذاً لرؤى القيادتين الحكيمتين للبلدين .

ويسعدني أن أبارك جهود عمل أعضاء اللجنة المشتركة بين جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة السلطان قابوس مثمنا الإنجازات التي تحققت في هذا المجال ومتمنياً الوصول إلى فضاءات أرحب تخدم العمل المشترك بين الجامعتين.

Joint cooperation between United Arab Emirates University and Sultan Qaboos University is an outstanding example under the excellent existing relations between the two brotherly countries and a natural outcome for the the objectives of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States Of The Gulf.

I would like also to praise the joint committee efforts and its effective role since the relations witnessed a milestone development and qualitative changes that marked prominently the scientific and cultural scene between the students and faculty members of the two universities, especially those related to the scientific research and the regular competitions of various activities where these activities achieved many of the two universities common objectives. These objectives come as a true expression and real embodiment of the aspirations and ambitions of the joint work of the GCC countries with a unified vision seeking to enhance the joint gulf work system through unleashing the challenging spirit and shaping the future to bright with its youth and satisfactory to its leaders. based on that these regular meetings, sharing knowledge, exchange of expertise and modern technology and research cooperation is the way for knowledge integration and build a generation capable of achieving the desired development built on awareness, science and knowledge.

Once again, I congratulate the joint committee of our two universities for its appreciated and continuous efforts that form an impetus and great motivation to continue the development of our relations with the aim to achieve our aspired goals through our journey which is full of giving.

The fraternal relationship between Sultan Qaboos University and United Arab Emirates University is an outcome of their combined efforts and the Oman-UAE joint Committee. This unequivocal cooperation between the two universities has set an example for the other GCC universities to emulate as it resulted in many remarkable achievements in various areas such as academic and scientific cooperation, student activities and administrative and scientific visits. In fact, these accomplishments reflect the success of the joint efforts between the SQU and UAEU and the realization of the visions of the wise leaderships of the two countries.

In this regard, I would like to praise the distinguished efforts of the members of the SQU-UAEU joint committee and their achievements, and encourage them to exert further efforts to reach wider horizons of collaboration that would contribute to the aspirations of the two universities.
