يطيب لي أن أتوجه بالتحية والتهنئة لرئيسي وأعضاء اللجنة المشتركة بين جامعتي الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة السلطان قابوس على جهودهما المتواصلة في تعزيز العلاقات القوية القائمة بين الجامعتين في ظل العلاقات المتميزة للبلدين الشقيقين ، و أشيد في هذه المناسبة بدور اللجنة النشطة في كافة المسارات للجامعتين ضمن الأنشطة المشتركة ، التي شهدت في السنوات الأخيرة تطورا كبيرا وقفزات نوعية شكلت علامات بارزة في المشهد الثقافي والعلمي بين طلبة الجامعتين وأساتذتها خاصة تلك التي تتصل بجوانب البحث العلمي والمسابقات الدورية للأنشطة المختلفة ، حيث حققت تلك الأنشطة الكثير من الأهداف المشتركة لبلدينا ، والتي جاءت تعبيرا صادقا وتجسيدا حقيقياً لآمال وطموحات مسيرة العمل المشترك لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية برؤى موحدة سعيا للارتقاء بمنظومة العمل الخليجي المشترك في انطلاق قدرات التحدي ومواجهة المستقبل الذي يحيط بنا بكل متغيراته المتسارعة ومن هنا فإن هذا التلاقي المتكرر والأخوة المتجلية تصب في مصلحة النهوض بجيل واعٍ مدرك لقضاياه وأهدافه المشتركة التي يحرص على تحقيقها بسلاح العلم والمعرفة.
مره أخرى أهنئ اللجنة المشتركة بين جامعتينا على جهودها المقدرة والمستمرة.

إن العلاقة الأخوية التي تربط جامعة السلطان قابوس بشقيقتها جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة هي نتيجة من نتائج العمل المشترك وإحدى ثمار عمل اللجنة العمانية الإماراتية المشتركة. ولا يخفى على الجميع أن التعاون المشترك بين الجامعتين أصبح نموذجا متميزا يحتذى به بين جامعات دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي ، كما أنه حقق إنجازات في الكثير من الأصعدة منها الجوانب الأكاديمية والجوانب العلمية هذا بالإضافة إلى الأنشطة الطلابية والزيارات الإدارية والعلمية، وكل هذه الانجازات جاءت تعبيرا صادقا وتجسيداً للعمل المشترك بين الجامعتين، وتنفيذاً لرؤى القيادتين الحكيمتين للبلدين .

ويسعدني أن أبارك جهود عمل أعضاء اللجنة المشتركة بين جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجامعة السلطان قابوس مثمنا الإنجازات التي تحققت في هذا المجال ومتمنياً الوصول إلى فضاءات أرحب تخدم العمل المشترك بين الجامعتين.

I would like to extend my greetings and congratulations to the Chairmen and members of United Arab Emirates University and Sultan Qaboos University for their continued efforts in promoting close ties between the two universities under the distinguished relations between the two countries.

Also, I would like to praise the two universities for the joint activities which have benefitted the community. In recent years we have seen considerable cultural and scientific landmarks among the students and professors of the two universities, especially those that are related to scientific research. These activities have achieved many common goals for our two countries. This joined-up working itself realizes a further aspiration of the GCC, which is to bring together our work to face future challenges together and more effectively.

Again I congratulate the inter-community of both universities on their efforts.

The fraternal relationship between Sultan Qaboos University and United Arab Emirates University is an outcome of their combined efforts and the Oman-UAE joint Committee. This unequivocal cooperation between the two universities has set an example for the other GCC universities to emulate as it resulted in many remarkable achievements in various areas such as academic and scientific cooperation, student activities and administrative and scientific visits. In fact, these accomplishments reflect the success of the joint efforts between the SQU and UAEU and the realization of the visions of the wise leaderships of the two countries.

In this regard, I would like to praise the distinguished efforts of the members of the SQU-UAEU joint committee and their achievements, and encourage them to exert further efforts to reach wider horizons of collaboration that would contribute to the aspirations of the two universities.
