Welcome to the website of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics (DOMAS) at Sultan Qaboos University. DOMAS is among the largest departments in the University with over 50 faculty members and over 7000 student registrations per semester. The department offers programs leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, or Statistics with a minor in Health Statistics. The latter one of the three programs is specially designed for students pursuing careers as Statisticians in the Oman Ministry of Health. The department also offers general minors in the fields of Mathematics and Statistics.
