Currently the Department takes part in the teaching medical students, MLS, Nursing and OMSB through the Molecular Biology and principle of genetics course, jointly with the Biochemistry department. The teaching consists of lectures along with seminars and laboratory visits. Additionally, undergraduate students from various university and colleges participate in teaching and training events that are geared towards offering an insight into the research and diagnostic areas of the genetics field.
