The Curriculum Development Unit (CDU) strives to ensure the production and use of quality materials that correspond with the stated objectives for each course. It oversees the curriculums taught in the different programs in the Language Center. The Curriculum Development Unit consists of the Head and Curriculum Developers. The Deputy Director for Curriculum, Special Program and Research oversees the work of the CDU. Members are selected after an announcement inviting candidates to apply, followed by interviews. Appointments are for two years and are renewable. Appropriate curriculum development hours are granted to selected members in lieu of their teaching hours. The normal release time is 6 hours for CDU members, but additional release time may be granted on an ad hoc basis for additional project work.                                                                Read more >>
