The training program in Pathology for the postgraduate medical course consists of 2 years general professional training (OMSB) followed by 4 years of higher specialty training overseas. The Royal College of Pathologists recognizes one year of our training for the MRCPath exam requirements. At present we have two (2) OMSB trainee from SQU. Clinicopathological conferences/seminars (once a month or more frequently as requested) in pediatrics, surgery, hematology, obstetrics and gynecology and on inter-hospital basis in diagnostic pathology and renal pathology are held.
