The Department of Physiology has taken long strides in teaching, research and clinical services since its inception. Contributions of the department to the system courses teaching as well as applied medical sciences has always been appraised and appreciated by students and external examiners alike. We have contributed to the development and execution of the new intergrated curicculum that has been recently put in to practice by the Collge of Medicine, SQU. Physiology for nursing students is a new addition to the departmental activity. The more advanced course in Nursing- Pathophysiology for Nursing, has been introduced successfully. The department is recognized for the award of Masters Master’s degree in Physiology, as also the PhD. The department of Clinical Physiology in the SQU Hospital offers state of the art investigation facilities in cardiovascular, pulmonary physiology and neurophysiology. .
