In a regular semester, and where the postgraduate program involves course work, the normal course load for a full-time student is between 9 and 12 credits, except when the student is registered for a thesis. The normal course load for a part-time postgraduate student is 6 credits, with 3 credits as the allowable minimum, except when the student is registered for a thesis.
