How to request the service

Online Form "Start Service"

Requirements and Documents
  • Book an appointment in advance through the electronic system on the electronic portal (electronic portal- general - audio and video service- video production).
  • Submitting the application two weeks in advance, as the system does not accept applications submitted less than that.
  • Nominate a person to be the focal point to work with the department.
  • Providing general information about the event via email (cetva@squ.edu.om).
  • Providing a detailed schedule of the event to be sent via email.
  • Giving prior notice if the event will be live-streamed on YouTube.
  • Giving prior notice if the event will be broadcasted on internal screens at the event venue.
  • Necessity to give prior notice in case the event is postponed/cancelled.
  • If the event is outside the university, the requesting unit must  arrange the transportation for the team.
  • Provide the translation subtitles if required.

 

Procedures and Steps

  1. After submitting the request, the client should check the status of the request in the online service form.
  2. Upon receiving the request, the department will assess it and assign a videographer for the event.
  3. Following the media coverage event, the video footage will be edited into a finished video product. The client will then be asked to review the work and provide any necessary revisions or feedback before the final product is delivered. 
  4. The final work will be sent to the client via email.
  5. The final work will be published in the CET Youtube channel.
  6. After the work is finished, the client will be requested to fill out a "Rate Our Services" form.
