This section oversees all the committees in which the director is a member or rapporteur. It prepares minutes of the committees’ meetings, coordinates with the members in relation to the meetings, facilitates meetings and takes care of the correspondence part and coordination with the committee members. Also, it coordinates and follows up the reservations of halls in the campus to be used for events arranged within the university. The section also oversees sub committees like the Committee of Celebrations, the Committee of Conferences and the External Symposiums, the Committee of Directors of departments and centers affiliated to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the Committee of the Safety and Security and the Committee of the Acquisition of Works of Art.

The section supervises, arranges, and follows up the conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, evenings, festivals, and lectures through putting short-term and long –term plans for all activities that this section is assigned to do during the year. Also, it facilitates conferences which are held within the University's campus, and follows-up the participants' details and the section that arranges the conference in terms of preparation and the readiness for the conferences. Moreover, the section is responsible for following-up the external conferences in which the University participates.
