The College of Science believes in the contribution of the alumni. Therefore, keeping active alumni groups in the departments serves two essential elements of the vitality of the university. Firstly, it develops in the alumni a sense of belonging and provides a platform where SQU graduates can meet and support each other secondly it opens a window of opportunity for support contact for the future graduates. The following have been adopted in this regard.

• One senior preeminent alumnus from each department is nominated as the president of the alumni for his/her department.
• The liaison member of staff establishes and maintains a database of the alumni
• One alumni social meeting is organized in the spring semester of every year in each department.
• The date for the social meeting is scheduled at the beginning of the academic year.
• The AD(TCS) assists with administrative tasks such as booking of venue and raising financial support.
