CODE : Center of Digital Earth
The Center of Digital Earth is an SQU postgraduate computing and training facility with a focus in the Petroleum Sciences. The facility comprises two dedicated computing rooms along with office space for a secretary and an IT officer.

1. The Petroleum Systems room: is a research room for researchers and postdocs working on petroleum related research and earth scientist with an intrest in conducting relevant computer-based research.

2. The Petroleum Outcome room: Is focused on digital based training related to the Petroleum Sciences. This room will be mainly used to teaching the Earth Sciences MSc in Petroleum Geosciences. Capacity of the Petroleum Outcome room is equipped to take up to 16 independent workstation, one instructor workstation, and LCD projector. Currently Petroleum Outcome room houses 10 workstation that are equipped with the propriety CGGVeritas software GeoClutser seismic data processing software.
