All programs in the College of Engineering follow the same degree requirements, which are classified into three groups:

Since its restructuring in 2002, the Department has gone through several updates its degree plans to improve its programs. The major changes were related mainly to the basic science courses which have been increased in order to meet the ABET requirements.
To graduate, a student is required to complete a total of 140 credit hours resulting in the award of a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. The credit hours are allocated to University, College and Department requirements as summarized below.
