Following admission to the university, each student is assigned an academic advisor whose role is to help:

• The students discover his/her potential and capabilities.
• The student in choice of courses in according to the degree program and approved academic regulations.
• The student in exploring alternative paths to the degree if for any reason the normal pace of the degree is disrupted.
• Advice the student on other matters affecting his/her studies.

The students are advised to consult their advisors in each semester before registration for smooth of running study plan. The advisors also help to develop a recovery plan for students on academic probation in consultation with the academic Assistant Dean.
