Admission Requirements
The applicant should have:
- A B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering or relevant fields.
- A grade on the undergraduate degree of "very good”, grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher. Students with a GPA of (2.5 - 2.74) may be conditionally admitted to the program. Work experience or any other relevant academic experience will be taken into consideration.
- English proficiency as demonstrated by a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or 6.0. on IELTS (International English Language Test Score).
- Release from employer for the duration of program (government employees) for full time students; part time students should provide a certification of "no objection" from the employer.
- Assessment interview.
Applications
Candidates should complete an application at the Office of Admissions and Registration with the following documents:
- Original degree certificate of undergraduate degree
- Original transcript
- Passport or ID card
- Four photographs - passport size.

Degree Requirements
The M.Sc. programs are a project option, which consists of 30 credit hours:
- 12 credits for mandatory courses,
- 2 credits for elective courses and
- 6 credits for the thesis.
