There are two societies operated by the students of the department.

SCHEME: Society of Chemical Engineers, formed by the Chemical and Process Engineering students.

SPE: Society of Petroleum Engineers, formed by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering students.
All the students in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering are members of SPE. The chapter operates under the auspices of Society of Engineering of the College. It also draws membership from the Chemical and Process Engineering program.
Theses societies routinely organize events inviting the faculty members and the public. These include public seminars, picnics, and other University functions. |
