I am pleased and honored to have been appointed the fifth Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, after serving the university in a number of posts, initially as an academic in the Petroleum Department of the College of Engineering, and subsequently as Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Community Service.

We live in a technological age where innovation and modernization are crucial for the development of society, and we hope our website reflects SultanQaboosUniversity's commitment to this through its academic programmes, medicine and research, as well as through community service.
