The Housing department is dedicated to providing SQUH expatriates employees with highest quality of customer service in its housing accommodation on and off campus. The department strives to enhance the value of accommodation that contributes to the hospital's wellbeing.
Eligibility of types of accommodation entitlement should be notified to every candidate associated with an employment contract prior to their acceptance for their entire acknowledgement.
Accommodation on campus are available in different types of categories such as family, single and sharing for senior and junior staff, in addition to hired/rented accommodation off campus, which are mainly assigned to junior, shared female employees in order to cover shortages of numbers of accommodation. This process is normally requires as alternative, when most of the accommodation unites are fully occupied on campus.

Housing Department is responsible of providing accommodation for all eligible employees. There are accommodations on and off campus, for single employees or with family.
Preparing and cleaning the accommodation prior to employee's arrival
Prior to new employees' arrival, vacant accommodation are checked and inspected by Housing Supervisor. These inspections are intended to ensure that the accommodation provided to new employees are fit for occupancy and they should not bother for maintenance. If there is a need for maintenance, job orders are placed for maintenance/repairs.
Once the maintenance is completed, the housing units are thoroughly cleaned and prepared. The aim behind pre-inspections and maintenance is to ensure that new occupants are provided with flawless housing units to make their stay is memorable.
Providing the accommodation with furniture
Every accommodation is provided with basic needed furniture for new employees. The furniture is checked prior to employees' arrival to check if they are in good condition. If a piece of furniture was found defected, an order is placed to request for repair or change.
Taking care of accommodation maintenance
All maintenance issues are addressed to Housing Department through a system. In addition, the accommodation is being inspected prior to employee arrival to check if there is any need for maintenance.
Providing furniture for the hospital's offices
Office furniture is provided by Housing department by placing a request through the department's e-mail address.
