Aseptic Preparation
The section is responsible for the following activities according to standard operational procedures:

• Compounding of sterile and non sterile preparations such as extemporaneous preparation, eye drops and intravenous drugs.

• Preparation of Total Parenteral nutrition aseptically which is needed by patients who cannot take oral food, preterm babies, malnourished, cancer, Intensive Care and surgical patients.

• Aseptic Compounding of cytotoxic drugs for cancer patients, bone marrow transplantation patients, haematology and rheumatology cases.

• Repacking of tablets and powder for inpatient and outpatient. Use specialized training of staff and student from different institutions.
