Shell Chair at the Oil & Gas Research Center in SQU offers Sponsorship for Students in PhD and MSc Programs

Two PhD and two MSc students are sought for research projects to be supervised by the Shell Chair in Carbonate Geosciences at the Oil & Gas Research Center of Sultan Qaboos University.

The thesis projects will be in the area of carbonate reservoir geoscience, including study of depositional facies, diagenesis, sequence stratigraphy, petrophysics, and reservoir quality.  Sponsorships and Research Assistantships are available.

Prospective candidates should be Omani Nationals and must first become enrolled in the PhD or MSc programs of either the Department of Earth Sciences or the Department of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University.
