Responsibilities:

  • Clarifying the actual requirements of new specialized equipment needed by different colleges and centers at the university in coordination with concerned departments.
  • Revising and evaluation of tenders related to new Equipment purchase along with the end users and procurement department in terms of technical specification, quantity, warranty, pre installation requirement and operation / maintenance training and after sales technical support.
  • Assisting the concerned departments and the suppliers for the new Equipment Site preparation and installation.
  • Timely arranging necessary spares either locally or from abroad.
  • Relocating the equipment as and when required.
  • Attending and providing the maintenance for all the specialized Equipment.
  • Preparing and revising the service contracts along with the legal advisor.
  • Managing the development, negotiation and monitoring of maintenance agreements and program contracts to ensure services are provided and operations are conducted within program parameters.
  • Monitoring maintenance contractor's activity to determine progress in meeting maintenance schedules and asses the quality of work performed.
