The minimum requirements that students must satisfy before  they can apply for a major

College of Science students can apply for a major usually after two semesters from enrollment to the university if they satisfy by the end of the semester they apply in (or the summer if applicable) the following minimum college and departmental requirements.

Minimum College Requirements:  

The student must have a passing grade in three introductory science courses among:  BIOL2101, CHEM2101, COMP2101, ERSC2101, MATH2107, PHYS2101, and STAT1001.   

The student must also have a passing grade in the English for Science course LANC2050.

* Please note that these minimum requirements are being revised and are not applicable to the 2006 or newer cohorts.
