Research is an integral element of the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences (CAMS). Accordingly, it has been the College's objective not only to provide training for the country's young people, but also to develop and disseminate basic and applied research that will result in the continuous improvement of the quality of life.
As a Research Committee of the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, we perform the following roles and duties - (i) Develop research policy guidelines for the college; (ii) Develop standardized research procedures; (iii) Stimulate the search by faculty for extramural funding; (iv) Assist graduate students in developing research proposals for their thesis requirements; (v) Evaluate annual research progress reports; and (v) Maintaining external reviewer lists for Journal of Agricultural and Marine Sciences.
