As the Training and Community Services of the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, we operate in close cooperation with the departments for the identification of potential Training and Community Services areas for the college; establishment of a policy and procedure for undertaking Outreach & Training activities; and liaise with the public and private sectors in the field of agricultural and agribusiness Outreach & Training.
As the Outreach & Training Committee of the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, we operate in close cooperation with the departments in order to achieve the following functions: (i) Identify potential Outreach & Training areas for the college; (ii) Keep records of Outreach & Training activities in the college; (iii) Contribute to the assessment of Outreach & Training activities in the college and their impacts on agricultural and fisheries communities; (iv) Establish a policy and procedure for undertaking Outreach & Training activities; and (v) Liaise with the public and private sectors in the field of agricultural and agribusiness extension. |
