B.S.c in Nursing program at the Sultan Qaboos University

The Sultan Qaboos University represented by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration is pleased to announce to Nursing Diploma graduates from recognized Ministry of Health Nursing institutes that applying for the B.Sc. program at the College of Nursing will start on Sunday 13/5/2018 and will end on Thursday 28/6/2018.



* Graduates from the Ministry of Health Nursing Institutes in the Sultanate of Oman must meet the following requirements:


1- Applicants should have a Diploma in Nursing from any Ministry of Health Nursing Institute in the Sultanate of Oman.


2- Admission will be granted to a limited number of applicants based on their Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).  Minimum required GPA is (2.3) on a scale of 4 points or (C+) as a final average.


3- Applicants should have earned the Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.


4- Applicants must attain a minimum IELTS band 5.5. no less than 4.5 in each skill or equivalent  


5- Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the field of nursing after passing the Diploma in Nursing.


If the applicant has graduated before 1997 , he/she should submit a course description with all subjects of the plan.


Required documents:

1- Copy of Secondary certificate or its equivalent.

2- Copy of Diploma certificate and transcript .

3- Work experience letter (minimum of 2 years work experience after graduating from Diploma program).

4- Copy of IELTS OR TOEFL certificate.

5- Copy from ID card or passport and four passport sized photos with blue background.

No objection letter from work to be a full-time student and a sponsorship letter stating that the tuition fees (R.O 3,350) will be paid by your sponsor, if you are entitled to a scholarship from them. If fees will be paid by the applicant, then they should sign a written statement to state that they will pay all tuition fees.
