Marwa Al-Kalbani, an Assistant Professor of Accounting. Dr. Al-Kalbani has been a faculty member of the Department of Accounting since 1998. Her teaching interests are in the areas of financial accounting, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and taxation. Dr. Al-Kalbani research interests include quality of corporate disclosure, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.

Marwa has earned her PhD degree in Accounting in 2008 from Cardiff University– UK. She earned her Master degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois – USA. Marwa has taught courses in Principles of Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Financial Statements Analysis and corporate governance. She also taught Principles of Accounting for MBA students.
