Marwa Al-Kalbani is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting at the College of Economics & Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University. Her current research interests include quality of corporate disclosure, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.

Marwa has earned her PhD degree in Accounting in 2008 from Cardiff University– UK. She earned her Master degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois – USA. Marwa has taught courses in Principles of Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Financial Statements Analysis and corporate governance. She also taught Principles of Accounting for MBA students.
