Zakia Al-Adawi is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the College of Economics and Political Science. She is the HOD of the Marketing department since July 2012. Her current interest is in Business Ethics and Marketing for Non-Profit Organizations. Previously she investigated the Technology Acceptance Model by applying it to the citizens’ acceptance of e Government in Oman. She holds a 2008 PhD in Marketing from Cardiff University and an MBA from Duquesne University. She taught different courses in Marketing to both graduate (MBA) and undergraduate students such as Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Business Ethics and Principles of Marketing. Voluntarily, Zakia holds a marketing manager position in the non-profit organization (Misk).
