Marwa Ali Talib Al Hinai has been a faculty member of the Marketing department at the college of Economics & Political Science since 2011. Prior to that, Marwa has served as the head of the marketing department at the Center for Community Service & Education of Sultan Qaboos University, where she was involved in a number of marketing projects for the community, such as the Omani Product promotional campaign which was organized by Oman Chamber of Commerce& Industry in 2006. Currently, Marwa's main interests are in the areas of social marketing and Not for profit Marketing. Her PhD thesis focused on the adoption and diffusion of social marketing in Public health. She has presented in a number of leading social marketing conferences, such as the International Social Marketing conference, the European Social marketing conference and the UK social marketing conference. Marwa has also achieved a Social Marketing certification accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and awarded by the National Social Marketing center in the UK.
