I am very delighted to convey to everyone the feedback from Professor Andrea Sianesi, who praised the professionalism and the quality of work that CEPS has submitted and stated that "it indicates the quality of the faculty members at CEPS.” As always, I am proud of our CEPS faculty members. My special thanks to the Accreditation Committee members for their hard work and my thanks is also extended to Assistants Dean, Head of Departments, and all faculty members for their continuous support.

I hope that all of our students and faculty had a restful summer and I wish everyone well as we now begin our busy and exciting Fall 2016 semester together. Our efforts to advance our eligibility application with EQUIS took another important step this summer with the visit of Dr. Andrea Sianesi, Dean of the Politecnico Milano, Italy MIP Graduate School of Business, who is serving as our assigned EQUIS Accreditation advisor. During his two-day visit on August 31 and September 1, Dr. Sianesi assisted our CEPS Accreditation Committee, the Assistants Deans, the Heads of Departments and faculty representatives with the final considerations and work we need to finish to submit our EQUIS Accreditation Eligibility Application in November.

There is much work to do this Fall and beyond for EQUIS Accreditation including meeting our new Annual Goals set by the departments this summer. This Fall we also will finalize our CEPS Five Year Strategic Plan, which incorporates this year’s Annual Goals, accreditation standards and also projects ahead for our continuous improvement and growth as a College.

Again I am most grateful to all of our CEPS faculty, staff, and students for their efforts and help with our accreditation work, which demonstrates our strong commitment to continually strive and succeed in providing educational excellence.

Best regards,

Dean, College of Economics and Political Science
