  • Political Science Department held a Seminar: “Appraising the Evolution of the Jus ad Bellum: History, Law, and Politics”
  • On the 26th of October a seminar on (Appraising the Evolution of the Jus ad Bellum: History, Law, and Politics) was held at the College of Economics and Political Science. The seminar was organized by Political Science department in collaboration with the University of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna to establish long-term academic and research ties between the two institutions. It was presented by Emanuele Sommario, who is presently an Assistant Professor of International Law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa in Italy. He holds a PhD in International Law from the Scuola Sant’Anna, an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Nottingham and a Degree in Political Science from the University of Pisa. The seminar included related subtitles like the UN Charter, the recent challenges to the legal regime and preventive self-defense. It was attended by faculty members of the department, as well as students of the International Relations Master and Political Science undergraduate major.
