A three-day workshop was organized for all the faculty of the College of Engineering starting May 26 – 28th, May 2015. The workshop was on:
“Preparing Engineers for a Globalized Economy: How to Teach Engineering Students Process Skills”
The presenter was Dr. Nikos J. Mourtos is professor and Director of the Aerospace Engineering Program at San Jose State University. The aim of the workshop was to enable the participants to design effective engineering courses to teach students’ process skills, such as problem-solving, design, lifelong learning, critical thinking, self-assessment, change management, communication and collaboration. This workshop is line with the University directives of enhancing the quality of teaching and learning.
