As an SQU alumnus/ alumna, you are an essential part of SQU’s network and it is very important to keep in touch with you. Establishing a special electronic portal for SQU alumni stems out from the special care that SQU is keen to offer to its alumni. The Alumni Portal provides:

1)  Access to Academic Transcript

You can download a soft copy of your academic transcript as a PDF file. Even though the copy you will get is unofficial because it is not certified by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at SQU, it still gives you a chance to review your grades and the courses you have taken in the past. This feature saves your time. Instead of going in person to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at SQU, you can have a copy of your academic transcript whenever you want.

2)  Courses Descriptions

The Alumni Portal offers brief descriptions about the academic courses available at SQU in order to give you an overview about the key content, strategies, and activities used in a course. If you are thinking of continuing your post-graduate studies at SQU, this feature would be very helpful since it provides easily accessed courses descriptions that saves your time and effort.

3)  Classmates Search

Many people lose connection with their classmates after graduating. In the past, alumni associations and class reunions were the only possible ways to reconnect with former classmates. Thanks to the developments achieved in technology, it became easier to keep in touch with former friends in the virtual world. The Alumni Portal contains the feature of classmates’ search that allows SQU alumni to keep in touch with their classmates. If you are an SQU alumnus/ alumna who are looking for another SQU classmate, all you have to do is to enter your classmate’s name or SQU ID number and you will find your friend’s contact information at once.
