Successful candidates will be expected to involve themselves in teaching introductory courses in medical informatics to medical students, conducting research into aspects of medical informatics, and developing and conducting workshops, seminars, and orientation activities on the usage of e-learning/e-assessment tools.
Candidates will also be expected to provide input into other administrative areas, such as collaboration with technical and other academic staff on the development and delivery of online courses, and software and hardware selections. Other duties of a similar nature and level may be required.

Appropriate senior technical grade will be awarded. The candidate should have minimum MSc. In medical physics or related sciences and have a minimum four years working experience in radiation protection, particularly in clinical radiation protection.
The candidate must also have a strong background in quality control of X-ray, ultrasound and MRI machines as well as gamma cameras ( SPECT, PET ), does calibrators, and other instrumentations used in Nuclear Medicine. The candidate should also have experience in teaching and research. |
