Postponement and Withdrawal

Kindly read the notes below before you pay the tuition fees.

The mentioned notices are intended for the students enrolled before fall 2017.

1. If the postponement or withdrawal from the university or withdrawal from the courses/thesis occurs in the Drop with (W) period, 70%

    of the fees paid in that semester shall be retrieved.

2. If the postponement or withdrawal from the university or withdrawal from the courses/thesis occurs after Drop with (W) period, none

    of the fees paid in that semester will be retrieved.

3. In the case of dismissal of the student from the university, none of the fees paid in that semester will be retrieved.

4. In the case of courses cancelation or suspension for any possible reason by the University, the full amount of fees paid in that

    semester shall be retrieved.

5. In case of extension, the student is obligated to pay OMR 50 for each semester to be extended.

6. In case of any course’s repetition, the full course fee will be repaid.

7. In case of failure to pay tuition fees for one semester, tuition fees encumbrance will be placed in the SIS system and the student will

    be prevented from academic proceduers for the next semester.

 

As for the students enrolled in the study program starting from fall 2017, All points mentioned above (2,3,4,5,6) apply to them except point number (1) and (7) will be as following:

If the postponement or withdrawal from the university or withdrawal from the courses / Thesis occurs during the first week of classes until the end of the Drop with (W) period, the full amount of fees paid in that semester will be retrieved.
