The Department of Client Services derives its work ethics and employee conduct during working hours from the provisions stated in the Implementing Regulations of the Law of Sultan Qaboos University (Duties of Employees and Prohibited Acts). These codes of conduct include the following:

  • Respecting Islamic teachings in behavior both inside and outside the University.
  • Adhering to the laws and regulations in force in the Sultanate and the University.
  • Performing job duties with honesty and integrity; dedicating official working hours to assigned responsibilities.
  • Acting in a manner consistent with the dignity and requirements of the position.
  • Cooperating with colleagues and supervisors within applicable regulations.
  • Not disclosing confidential matters related to the position.
  • Prohibition of negligence affecting the University’s financial rights.
