Vision

The Quality Assurance Office at Sultan Qaboos University aspires to assist the University in its quest for excellence by leading program and unit review efforts in order to attain and maintain National and International accreditation.

 

Mission

The mission of the Quality Assurance Office at SQU is to enhance the quality of academic, administrative, financial and technical performance and to reinforce the culture of quality in the University.

 

Objectives

The QAO, in coordination with all SQU units, aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Enhance the Continuous Quality Improvement Processes (CQIP) at SQU.
  • Spread the culture of quality improvement among staff and students at SQU.
  • Achieve and maintain SQU accreditation by the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority  (OAAA) and international accreditation agencies.
  • Improve the level of expertise and consultancies pertaining to quality and accreditation for all units of the University.
