The Trainee

  •  All data required in the personal file must be completed before registering in any of the available training programs.Participants have the right to register in person in all training programs available through the electronic system. Registration is considered canceled if the fees are not paid after the end of the registration period. Participants of the training programs through their institution shall register their data through their institution page.
  • Participants shall review the regulations followed for withdrawals of participants in person.
  • The trainee will not be granted a certificate of attendance or completion of a general or contractual training program if his/ her absence rate exceeds 20% of the total hours of the training program. In this case, he/ she is not entitled to claim the participation fees he paid.
  • For international degree programs, personal participants are not allowed to take the exam until the fees are paid. For participants nominated by a certain institution, a letter confirming payment of the test fees from their institution is required to allow them to take the test.
  • The personal participants or the nominating institution has the right to refund the test fees that were paid if the test is cancelled.
  • Participants shall adhere to the regulations and follow the instructions.
  • All training courses and community programs at the Centre are subject to the terms and regulations approved by the University administration, the regulator for the Centre’s work on this matter.

The Trainer

  • The trainer must complete all the required registration data in the personal file in order to be approved as an accredited trainer at the Centre.
  • Accreditation request is subject to several determinants, including: practical experience, academic certificates, quality of the training program, international and academic accreditations, along with others.
  •  The accredited trainer has the right to submit proposals for holding various training programs through the e-form prepared for that purpose.
  • The Centre evaluates and sorts all training initiatives and proposals received periodically and classifies them according to the nature and content of the proposal.
  •  The training needs submitted to the Centre from various units are studied, analyzed and sorted to evaluate the possibility of implementing the.
  •  The Centre classifies training proposals according to content, duration of implementation, and financial obligations incurred. Then, the program plan is approved, and it includes training courses and community activities, including the implementation schedule and financial details for each program. The Centre submits the proposal to the University administration for final approval.
  • The Centre has the right to agree with external trainers and external training bodies (from inside and outside the Sultanate) to provide various types of courses and training programs for various community institutions.
  • The Centre’s regulations, approved by the University’s Vice Chancellor, determine the wages of trainers from the University, according to the course classification and duration.
  •  For trainers from outside the University, the Centre determines their wages and the benefits granted to them as agreed upon in line with the Centre’s approved regulations in this regard.
  • Trainers shall adhere to the regulations and follow the instructions of the organizers of the training programs.
  • All training courses and programs for the community at the Centre are subjected to the terms and regulations approved by the University administration, the regulator for the Center’s work in this regard.

Governmental and Private Institutions:

  • All required data must be registered on the institution’s personal file.
  • The Centre can grant institutions that participate with four or more participants a discount of 15% of the general course fees. This offer does not apply to international certificate courses and language courses.
  • The Centre issues an invoice to the nominated institution immediately after the end of the training program, according to which the institution shall pay the full fees within a maximum period of 90 days.
  • The nominating institution will pay the full fees in the event that its candidate/candidates withdraw after more than 20% of the training program hours have passed. In case of withdrawal after less than 20% of the training program hours have passed, the nominating institution can nominate another participant as a replacement for the withdrawing candidate or to participate in any other training program offered by the Centre during the same year, provided that the course fees are the same of that were paid to the withdrawing candidate, or it shall pay the difference if the fees of the course to be enrolled are higher.
  • The nominating institution is not obligated to pay any fees if its candidate/candidates do not attend any hour of the training program.
  • Participants shall adhere to the regulations and follow the instructions of the organizers of the training programs.
  • All training courses and programs for the community at the Centre are subjected to the terms and controls approved by the University administration, the regulator for the Centre’s work in this regard.
