The library seeks to meet the needs of the university and local community for information of various kinds in the field of counseling and guidance, and psychology, and to meet the research needs related to the same field.

The number of the current library collections is about 3000 items in both Arabic and English, such as books, periodicals, encyclopedias and specialized series, in addition to university theses, scientific, cultural and administrative journals, statistical books and annual reports, and a group of university publications.

The Library provides loan service to its visitors as follows:

• Staff, graduate students, and researchers: 7 books for 3 weeks.
• Bachelor and diploma students: 5 books for 3 weeks
