• A faculty member in the Department of Music and Musicology, College of Arts and Social Sciences, holding a PhD in Philosophy in Music Education from Cairo University, Egypt. She has 18 years of experience in the field of quality assurance. She served as Deputy Director of the Quality Unit at the Faculty of Specific Education, Cairo University since January 2021, in addition to being the Quality Coordinator in the Department of Music Education from 2014 to 2021. Since October 2021, she has held the position of Chair of the Quality Committee in the Department of Music and Musicology at the College of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. She participated as a member of the Administrative Quality Review Team (Audit Phase) at the same university in 2022, and has chaired several teams in the Evaluation Phase since 2023 to the present. She is a member of the Omani Association for Quality in Higher Education (OAQHE) and has received numerous training courses and participated in quality conferences. She has also trained faculty members to enhance the culture of quality at the College of Arts and Social Sciences, through workshops on the academic requirements of the Omani Qualifications Framework (OQF).
