KPIs are measurable metrics that the university uses to evaluate its performance and progress towards its strategic and operational goals, where key performance indicators help the university determine its success in achieving its strategic and operational goals, identify areas for improvement, and contributes in decision making. The university’s performance indicators include the following sources: Sultan Qaboos University’s performance indicators for the list of goals derived from Oman Vision 2040 priorities (Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Unit), the university’s annual plan indicators (General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers), and any further institutional indicators. However, the Quality Assurance Office also aligns these indicators within different sources and according to the fields and enablers of the university’s strategic plan 2016-2040.
