Dean’s List
The College issues the Dean’s List after the release of results for each regular academic semester (Fall and Spring) and the completion of the grade adjustment period. The list includes the following categories:
Distinction List
o Includes students who achieve a cumulative GPA between 3.70 – 4.00.
o Provided that no course grade is lower than B.
Honor List
o Includes students who achieve a cumulative GPA between 3.50 – 4.00.
o Provided that no course grade is lower than C.
Mechanism for Calculating the Dean’s List
• The Dean’s List is calculated by dividing the total grade points earned by the student in the courses of the specified semester by the total number of registered credit hours for that semester.
• The minimum registered credit hours in the semester must not be less than 15 credit hours.
• Only courses with numerical grades are included in the calculation, in accordance with the approved regulations and conditions.
