Clinical Elective Rotation Committee
Purpose
To ensure that the “Clinical Elective Rotation” achieves its educational objectives.
Responsibilities
- To provide Clinical Elective Office with “links” to recognized international institutions to work on possible placement of students.
- To seek and arrange any other exchange program with other institutions.
- To communicate with the Clinical Elective Office on stable and sustainable management of the Clinical Elective Rotation for SQU students and Visiting Elective students.
- To recommend to the Dean annual funding requirement, so he/she could liaise with SQU Administration to secure funding.
- To approach the private sector to raise further financial support.
- To recommend remedial action to any challenges encountered with the clinical elective rotation.
- To annually analyze the performance and outcome of students in the clinical elective rotation.
- To identify areas of improvement and suggest means of achievement.
- To act on any other related matters that may be assigned to the Committee by the Dean.
- To periodically report to the College Board on the progress of the Committee work.
