A group of academics from the College of Nursing conducted a First Aid Workshop for local sports teams, in collaboration with the Omani Women's Association in the Wilayat of Bidbid, on December 23, 2024. The workshop aimed to enhance the participants' knowledge and skills in providing emergency care, focusing on essential first aid techniques to manage injuries and health emergencies during sporting events. This initiative not only aimed to equip participants with life-saving skills but also fostered community engagement by partnering with local organizations to promote safety and well-being in sports activities.
