Orientation Day (Fall 2025)

10 Sep, 2025 | Return|

On September 10th, Cohort 40 began their journey in the nursing program with a welcoming and informative orientation session. Led by the Dean, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies, and faculty members, the event offered students a thorough introduction to the program, including key academic milestones, clinical requirements, and the overall structure of their studies.

A key part of the orientation was the introduction of a study plan, designed to help students manage their workload effectively. Faculty provided helpful strategies on balancing academic and clinical responsibilities to ensure a successful year.

Students were also given a guided tour to familiarize themselves with the college’s facilities, including lecture halls, simulation labs, and support services, helping them feel more at ease in their new learning environment.

The Nursing Students' Group was introduced as a vital resource for peer support and professional development. Students were encouraged to get involved, as the group offers networking opportunities, leadership roles, and a strong sense of community.

To wrap up the day, a fun general knowledge competition was held, fostering a relaxed and engaging atmosphere where students could connect with one another.

By the end of the orientation, Cohort 40 students felt confident, well-prepared, and excited to embark on their nursing education, with the support of both their peers and faculty.
