Full scholarships, including student exemption from tuition fees and a monthly allowance.
Exemption from Tuition Fees scholarships which is limited to exemption from fees only.
Monthly Allowance scholarships which are limited to a monthly allowance only.
The student must get unconditional admission on the applied program.
For Master's scholarships, the student must have a minimum Accumulative Grade Points Average of 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent in the undergraduate degree.
For PhD scholarships, students must satisfy admission requirements stipulated in the University's Postgraduate Academic Regulation.
The student must be full time.
For Full and Monthly Allowance Scholarships:
Monthly allowance during scholarship duration, based on the contract.
International students coming from abroad and got full scholarship are eligible to get a two-way economy class ticket annually, to the nearest international airport to his/her permanent residence. Omani students who got full scholarship are eligible to get annual ticket based on the contract.
Paid leave for 36 working days upon approval of the Department Head.
For both Full scholarships and Exemption from Tuition Fees Scholarships:
Exemption from tuition fees.
Must be full time student for the duration of the program.
Participate in academic / administrative work for no more than (10) hours a week for full scholarship and (5) hours a week for exemption from tuition fees scholarship.
Commitment to work specified by the department head.
Fully comply with SQU Regulations, Policies and Decisions issued by the Vice Chancellor.
