CPS Students Shine at GUfest 2025 Inter-University Festival

ECAraw

Students from the Centre for Preparatory Studies (CPS) proudly represented Sultan Qaboos University at GUfest 2025, joining peers from universities across Oman in a dynamic programme of academic, linguistic, and technical competitions. Twenty-one CPS participants competed in Debate, LinguaLex–Jeopardy, and the IT Escape Room Challenge, supported by staff mentors and student assistants, showcasing teamwork, resilience, and academic excellence.

CPS students delivered an impressive performance, winning awards in all three major competitions and demonstrating the strength of cross-departmental preparation and collaboration. Their conduct and engagement throughout the day reflected positively on the university and highlighted the value of experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
